What’s your first memory of being on a board?
Bombing a half pipe style gully in my friends back yard on a skate deck with bike tire stirrup straps 

Where did you learn to snowboard?
In that same gully, a Cabin my Dad had in Heber and Mitch’s back yard. Then Brighton.

What was the first trick you ever learned?
Ollie or Air. 

What was the first snowboarding video you ever saw?
Can’t remember really. Something with Damian Sanders probably. 

Who had the biggest influence on your riding when you were starting out?
My friends. ‘The Farmington Crew’

Who’s your biggest influence now?
My kids 

Who do you think is the most underrated or underappreciated snowboarder out there?
Not sure anyone is underrated anymore they can all tell you how rad they are as much as they want on social platforms and we can go look as much as we want.  For the sake of the answer though, I feel like someone like J-Mo is super underrated- that’s a really good snowboarder right there.

What video part do you watch to get hyped before filming?
None usually

When was the last time you scared yourself snowboarding?
I’m scared pretty often. So probably last time I rode. 

What was the last trick you filmed?
I think a tail grab off this cliff at Brighton 

It just snowed two feet in a city five hours away. Who’s jumping in the van with you for the road trip?
JP, Seth, MDP, Andy.  That’s a pretty classic set up that’s bullet proof. 

On that trip, you find the perfect down bar. How many stairs is it?
20 maybe. 🤷🏻‍♂️.

It’s going to dump two feet overnight at your local resort. Who are you calling to ride with in the morning?
These days, my daughter My son, Seth/JP, Dean.  

Describe a perfect day on the board.
Lots of styles of perfect days. A pow hike with my daughter and a hot lap in Brighton park with my son. That fills my cup right up in an instant!

What’s your go-to L1 kit for street and park laps? What about for powder days?
usually same in pow and street. But the Rankin Pant has been all time. And Rankin kit.
