What’s your first memory of being on a board?
I can’t remember too much:( I think on my fourth birthday my dad pulled me out of school early and surprised me with a snowboard and we went up that afternoon and tried to learn together! I think I kept falling and didn’t like it too much at first haha.

Where did you learn to snowboard?
Canyons resort in Park City.

What was the first trick you ever learned?
The first trick I remember learning that I was stoked on was a back 3. I’m sure there was a few tricks before it, but that one made me hyped!

What was the first snowboarding video you ever watched?
Burton Smalls team video.

Who had the biggest influence on your riding when you were starting out?
I think just learning to snowboard in Park City when it had a really cool snowboarding scene. There was always tons of pros always riding and contest going on that was insane to watch!

Who’s your biggest influence now?
All of my friends and the people I snowboard with. I get inspo every day.

Who do you think is the most underrated or underappreciated snowboarder out there?
My friend Liam Johnson. Unreal snowboarder and great human!

What video part do you watch to get hyped before filming?
If I’m filming powder it’s Vans Evergreen. Arthur and Blake’s part has always been one of my favorites. Also the Dust Box videos always get me hyped. 

When was the last time you scared yourself snowboarding?
Pretty much every time I snowboard haha. 

What was the last trick you filmed?
I think it was a back 3 and cab 3 on this step down at Brighton. 

It just snowed two feet in a city five hours away. Who’s jumping in the van with you for the road trip?
Anybody in my friend group that’s down to go.

On that trip, you find the perfect down bar. How many stairs is it? What’s your go-to trick—and your dream trick?
Probably just a board slide or a switch board slide. Dream trick would be a switch back tail.

It’s going to dump two feet overnight at your local resort. Who are you calling to ride with in the morning?
Again, whatever homies that are down to go.
